Requirements for a Moving Image Production
Type of moving image production: In this brief we were required to produce a short film that could be no longer than 90 seconds. The reason it could only be 90 seconds was due to the fact that we were making it for Depict which is an Internet competition that showcases 90 second clips. Like all media productions our film must be Distributed which means the marketing side of the film which normally happens when the film has finished film or even during the final days of filming. The whole idea is to create a product alongside the actual film to try and gain interest and to sell the film. In terms of marketing the 2018 Film Ready Player One, directed by Stephen Spielberg set new levels with its experimental promotions.
